Job description
We are seeking a Control-M Engineer to join our offshore support team, delivering services to a European client. This role focuses on supporting and maintaining Control-M environments—a workload automation tool developed by BMC Software—while working closely with a distributed team across multiple time zones. You’ll be part of a collaborative, international setup where flexibility, responsiveness, and clear communication are essential.
Depending on your Control-M expertise and language skills, you may also be involved in development or migration projects based in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 & 2 support for Control-M incidents and service requests
Assist with Control-M migrations and upgrades
Offer operational guidance to enhance customer workflows
Troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions
Manage daily operations and coordinate with stakeholders
Participate in virtual meetings with European partners
Maintain strong customer relationships and contribute to identifying new opportunities
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in IT operations or similar roles
Hands-on experience with Control-M by BMC Software
Familiarity with IT production environments, ITIL processes, SQL, and scripting
Understanding of IT architectures
Strong communication and summarization skills
Basic knowledge of BMC Control-M licensing
Exposure to other automation tools is a plus
Comfortable working with international teams across time zones
Strong customer service mindset
Fluent in English; French is a plus
